Moving & Laundry Day

Today we woke up at 3:00 a.m. to get to Porto's airport for a 6 o'clock flight to Milan. Needless to say, we are tired and it is 9:00 and I'm ready for bed. Porto has a very pretty and well run airport. We enjoyed our cheap Ryanair flight and made it to Milan by 9:30, with a time change.
We checked into our hotel that has a huge private balcony and worked on getting our train tickets to Verenna and Frankfurt for later in the week. If we had some friends here we could have a huge party!
View from the balcony.
We went 12 days without washing and so today was the day to catch up with that chore. You know, we think doing laundry in Europe is interesting. We have now washed our clothes in Basel, Barcelona, Vernazza, Milan and Victor's basement in Frankfurt.  This evening Bryan and I showed an 80 something Italian how to run the washing machine. He spoke no English and we don't speak Italian.
To end the day we walked to a really nice area of town that is close to our hotel. We ate a pistachio/bologna pizza that was fabulous! I couldn't eat it all, but I sure tried.
