Duomo & Galleria

Perfect weather this morning and not many folks out and about at nine this morning. We had a pastry and coffee at a little cafe not far from our hotel. We had to show our vaccination records, first time at a restaurant.

The Duomo is huge, the second largest in Europe. They started building it in 1386 and didn't finish until 1965. 

Gallerie d'Italia in Milan is just beautiful and directly across the street from the Duomo. It was built in the 1800's. Not a true shopping experience for most, Prada, Dior, and all the other expensive designers. 

Not far from the Gallerie is the Opera.

In the evening we went back to see the lights and have a gelato.
