Moving Day, Lisbon, Coimbra, Porto

First stop this morning from Lisbon to Coimbra, about 2 hours by bus. Coimbra is a university town with about 25,000 students. We were met by three students dressed in their uniforms. These uniforms date way back to the 1700's, when at that time they were worn every day. Now students wear them on Thursdays and special occasions. They are quite Harry Potter type garb.
We visited a library that went back to the 1700's too. The story goes that there are bats inside that keep the insects from eating on the books.
We stopped at a shopping area in Coimbra too.
At lunch we were entertained by traditional Portuguese music.
After Coimbra it was just another hour and a half to Porto. This is where our ship is docked. The ship normally would have about a hundred passengers, but because of Covid there are only 44 of us. Tomorrow we take off down the Douro River.
